Dont' let the basic decor put you off... I've been here twice now. Once in the evening for a post pub Gyros binge, once for lunch. Loved it both times. Two main things of note are that its exceptional value for really good food and that the chips posses some kind of magic. Will go again for lunch next week :-)
I’m a big Greek food fan and LOVE souvlakiland. It’s a good value, family run joint where a lot of love and care goes into the food. Have visited four times now and each time it’s been really good. HIGHLY rate it - I love the souvlaki wraps, the Greek salad and the Tzatziki which is surprisingly absolutely amazing (ordered it on a whim and now stock up for my fridge) Don’t let the interior put you off, we always eat in for the vibes :-) Long live Souvlakiland!!!
The pork/chicken skewers and the gyros portion taste just as great as they do in greece, they use good quality ingredients and do so consistently. I consider myself a fussy eater and they have been meeting my expectations without disappointment. Recommended.

Always fresh and they make the most delicious wraps with just the right amount of chips and sauce. The grilled halloumi is also great!
Excellent little place. Very friendly staff which is always nice to see. Food is delicious and fairly priced.
Good take away, there were no other people ordering except us, so all was cooked really quickly. Souvlaki were great, still warm when we got home
Probably the best Souvlaki in East London. Not too expensive. The only minus will be the fact that they did not pick up the phone. All the rest is ok
